About Me

Welcome to my page! I’m Yash Kumar, a Cornell graduate in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business. My hobbies include basketball, hiking, lifting weights, reading, traveling, and cooking.

This blog started as a collection of my high school journalism and art editorials, but it has pivoted to focus on fitness and weight loss. Once pre-diabetic and weighing 265 pounds, I lost 80 pounds through trial and error, patience, and resilience. This journey transformed my health, mindset, and career aspirations, inspiring me to pursue medicine.

I remember the overwhelming, confusing, and scary start to my weight-loss journey, along with the countless mistakes that set me back. While I’m happy to share my objective progress, I realized that the subjective nature of the journey is what many need to achieve their goals.​ I’ve shifted this blog to share unique insights, advice, and tips from my personal weight-loss journey.
